Press Release posted 7\/9\/12 –<\/em> Sierra Madre Grocery Company has been named a Silver Medal Winner for Outstanding Pasta Sauce in the 2012 Sofi\u2122 Awards from the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade, Inc. \u00a0Winners were announced at the Summer Fancy Food Show<\/p>\n

A Sofi\u2122<\/strong> Award is the top honor in the $75 billion specialty food industry. \u201cSofi\u2122<\/strong>\u201d stands for Specialty Outstanding Food Innovation.<\/p>\n

The Sierra Madre Grocery Company was one of 110 Silver Finalists<\/strong> selected by a national panel of specialty food experts. The judges evaluated 2600 entries across 30 Awards categories from Outstanding Appetizer, Antipasto, Salsa and Dip to Outstanding Vinegar. Gold and Silver Sofi\u2122 <\/strong>Winners were announced by noted chef Jos\u00e9 Andr\u00e9s at a red-carpet ceremony June 18, 2012, at the Summer Fancy Food Show<\/a><\/strong> in Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n
