{"id":16836,"date":"2014-03-29T05:48:05","date_gmt":"2014-03-29T12:48:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sierramadrenews.net\/?p=16836"},"modified":"2014-03-29T06:20:26","modified_gmt":"2014-03-29T13:20:26","slug":"la-habra-quake-shakes-sierra-madre-no-reports-of-damage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.sierramadrenews.net\/?p=16836","title":{"rendered":"La Habra Quake Shakes Up Sierra Madre, No Reports Of Damage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Posted 3\/29\/14 &#8211;<\/em> A 5.1 earthquake shook through Sierra Madre last night, rocking us with a good jolt followed by some rolling for several seconds afterward. \u00a0The quake, reported by the USGS as being centered 1 km South of La Habra, appears to have left Sierra Madre undamaged, though in the light of day there&#8217;s always the possibility that things unseen in the dark may appear. \u00a0Also, as daylight comes and hikers hit the trail, rock slides are liable to be discovered, so if you&#8217;re hitting the trails, be alert for blockages on the trails.<\/p>\n<p>Watch Commander Sgt.
