We will enjoy a potluck dinner &#8211; beverages provided &#8211; as prelude to our guest speaker for the evening, Dr. William Patzert, the well known NASA\/JPL expert on oceanography and climatology. His 31 years of research has focused on improving our understanding of important environmental problems ranging from El Nino and La Nina to longer term climate change. \u00a0The subject of Dr. Patzert\u2019s presentation will be &#8220;Drought, Are We In Or Out?&#8221; \u00a0Dr. Patzert has addressed the local Kiwanis chapter twice in recent years.
