\"\"<\/a>The first of two Gourmet Food Truck Festivals being put on this month by the Sierra Madre Chamber of Commerce drew hundreds of people to Memorial Park on Saturday.\u00a0 Several of the trucks sold out of multiple items on their menu, and Nom Nom, probably the most well known of the trucks due to its second place finish in last season’s “The Great Food Truck Race” on the Food Network, sold out and was on the road home nearly two full hours before the end of the event.\u00a0 (Author’s Note: I am also the Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce.)<\/em><\/p>\n

The second of the two Gourmet Food Truck Festivals is scheduled for August 27th at the same location, from 11am to 6pm.\u00a0\u00a0 This event will feature eleven trucks, and with many people back from vacation and the addition of radio promotion by one of the scheduled trucks, the\u00a0GoCountry 105 Chuckwagon, crowds may be larger and trucks may again find themselves running short of food, so get there early!<\/p>\n
