Further investigation revealed the motorist was driving without a valid driver\u2019s license and was displaying false vehicle registration tabs. The motorist was cited for the misdemeanor violations and released on a written promise to appear in court.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Tuesday, December 27<sup>th<\/sup> <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>12:22 AM \u2013 Arrest, Possession of Marijuana, 100 block of Sycamore St., in the city of Arcadia.<\/strong> While conducting an area check for a stolen vehicle, an officer saw a pedestrian throw away a plastic baggy and a glass pipe, in an attempt to conceal the contraband. The officer stopped the pedestrian and further investigation revealed the pedestrian was trying to conceal possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. The pedestrian was cited and released on a written promise to appear in court.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7:34 AM \u2013 Arrest, Possession of Marijuana, 100 block of Suffolk Ave.<\/strong> Officers were summoned regarding two people smoking marijuana. Officers arrived on scene and detained two people. Further investigation revealed they were in possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. They were cited and released on a written promise to appear in court.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7:53 AM &#8211; Vandalism, 00 block N. Baldwin Ave.<\/strong> Officers were summoned to a vandalism investigation at Valero gas station. Between the time period of 12-26-11, at 9:00 pm and 12-27-11, at 6:30 am, unknown suspect(s) vandalized a gas pump causing about $100.00 damage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>11:39 AM \u2013 Grand Theft, 600 block of Valle Vista Drive.<\/strong> Officers responded to a theft investigation of jewelry. The theft occurred between the period of 11-16-11 and 11-28-11, during which time, the resident had several contractors working on the property. The value of the loss is estimated at $15,000.00.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Wednesday 28<sup>th<\/sup> <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>6:45 AM \u2013 Stolen Vehicle, 600 block of Edgeview Drive.<\/strong> The resident reported the theft of his 2012 Toyota pickup truck that was parked in his driveway. The theft occurred between12-27-11, at 10:00 pm and 12-28-11, at 6:30 am. At 8:26 am, Alhambra police officers located and recovered the unoccupied stolen truck in their city.<\/p>\n<p><strong>8:42 PM \u2013 Arrest, Resisting Arrest and Battery on a Police Officer, Sierra Madre Blvd. and Michillinda Ave.<\/strong> An officer stopped a female motorist for a Vehicle Code violation. The female refused to sign the written promise to appear in court, leaving officers no choice but to affect an arrest, during which time, the female struck an officer. The female motorist was arrested for resisting arrest and battery on a police officer. She was transported to Pasadena Police Department jail of booking.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Saturday 31<sup>st<\/sup><\/strong> <\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a012:05 AM \u2013 Arrest, Unlicensed Driver and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Hill Ave and Maple Ave, in the city of Pasadena. <\/strong>An officer stopped a motorist for a Vehicle Code violation. Further investigation revealed the driver was driving without a valid driver\u2019s license and his female passenger was in possession of drug paraphernalia. The driver was cited and released on a written promise of appear. The passenger was arrested and transported to Pasadena Police Department jail for booking.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>2:09 AM \u2013 Arrest, Public Intoxication, 200 block of Mariposa Ave.<\/strong> Officers responded to a disturbance call and found a male hiding in the bushes in front of the residence. Officers discovered the man was under the influence of alcohol and was unable to care for himself or others. He was arrested for public intoxication and transported to Pasadena Police Department jail for booking.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>7:13 AM \u2013 Arrest, Unlicensed Driver, Sierra Madre Blvd. and Hasting Ranch Dr., in the city of Pasadena.<\/strong> An officer stopped a motorist for a Vehicle Code violation. Further investigation revealed the motorist was driving without a valid driver\u2019s license. The motorist was cited for the misdemeanor violation and released on a written promise to appear in court.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6:50 PM \u2013 Arrest, Public Intoxication, 00 block of West Sierra Madre Blvd.<\/strong> An officer saw a man seated on a public bench, who appeared to be unresponsive. Further investigation revealed the man was under the influence of alcohol and was unable to care for himself or others.
