Sierra Madre Volunteer Firefighter's Association/Fire Department

Sierra Madre has the only remaining Volunteer Fire Department in Los Angeles County.  The Sierra Madre Volunteer Firefighter's Association was established to help with the support of that fire department.  But they are two different entities.  If you are looking for information on the Association, we suggest you go to their website, www.smvfa.org.   That website does a far better job of telling you about the Association and Department then we could.  We put this page up to honor the men and women who donate their time, their service and their honor to protect the Citizens of Sierra Madre.  We hope that our page helps to steer more traffic to their site so that more people can be aware of the wonderful people we have in our department, and from that awareness, perhaps additional support will follow.  And we will post news of upcoming events for these two organizations when we hear about it, as well as providing you with these photo and video archives of events at which either the Association or the Department was a participant.  Some of the links aren't working yet, because the photos aren't posted yet.  However, we will be posting them eventually, so check back.  As we find the time, you'll get to stroll down memory lane.
