Karl and Ruth Teigler celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on June 27, 2002.

Karl Edward Teigler and Ruth Jean Kelley were married in Rochester, New York on June 27, 1942, lived for a time in Texas, andthumb have lived in Sierra Madre since 1963. Karl was employed by General Electric for more than 30 years. Ruth was a medical assistant and homemaker.

They are the parents of three children: Dian Teigler, who resides in Arcadia, Louise Teigler, widow of son Tim, who resides in Carson City, Nevada, and Kathy Scheffler and her husband James who reside in Kokomo, Indiana.
