September 11, 2002

Among the events taking place to commemorate last year's terrorist attach on the US were these:  Rotary Club had a special meeting featuring a WTC survivor on Tuesday the 10th, a tree planting ceremony at Sierra Mesa School featuring a contingent from Sierra Madre Fire Dept., and a community gathering in Memorial Park, featuring choirs and representatives from all the local churches and appearances by our own local hometown heroes, the world famous Sierra Madre Search and Rescue Team, SMPD, and SMFD.  I hope you enjoy these photos from the latter two events, though I stopped taking photos once the ceremony began.  Photos of the Rotary event can be found by clicking on the special meeting link above.  Special thanks to my wife Katie for taking the photos from the school event.
