Frosty Arrives in Kersting Court

Frosty Arrives at Kersting Court

Andrew Graper and Dave Forrester carried on their longtime tradition of going to the mountains and bringing back snow to build a snowman in Kersting Court.  This year's snowman was built with snow from the Big Bear area.  When we asked Andrew about the LA Times Calendar section article that discussed a Beantown snowman fund to help pay for ice if there was no snow, and what would happen with the fund now, he responded that he didn't know how that got started, or what was going on with that.  "This is something I do every year, and I don't want it commercialized in any way.  If I have to buy ice, I'll pay for it myself.  If Beantown wants to send down hot chocolate for the kids that work on building him, or wants to contribute manpower, I'd love it, but I'll deal with it financially."  We've had a couple people ask us about the fund, and have a call in to Beantown to try and find out.  We'll let you know when we hear.  Andrew Graper, Dave Forrester, and Augie Beck(?).
