Music News Update - Father's Day Special

by Sierra Madre Sue Behrens

Continuing with my series of favorite bartenders (in no particular order), here is a picture of me and Tony (click to enlarge it) from the Buccaneer Lounge in Sierra Madre.  You can get a glimpse of the pirate mural behind the bar, but if you've never been in there, you really should see it in person, as well as the individual pirate portraits on the walls - they're pretty awesome!  Tony used to work at the Sandwich Stop (where Casa Del Rey is now) when he was a teenager, and has been at the Buc for the past 11 years.  Not only does he mix great drinks, he's the only bartender I know that wraps my Bud Light in a napkin, just the way I like it!  Tony celebrated his birthday* this week, and is also the proud daddy of two boys.
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TONY!

We're going to post links to past Music News columns, not because it makes sense to post outdated calendar items, but just so you can look up the name of the band that played at that place last Thursday that it's driving you crazy that you can't remember.  Actually, we may also add to some of the old columns by creating links at the blurb about an event, if we cover it and have either photos or videos that we've posted for that event.
