Big Band Concert Kicks Off 4th of July Festivities

This year’s 4th of July celebration in Sierra Madre began with a concert by "From The Top Productions", a kids singing and dancing troupe that performed a program called "Sounds Of Summer," followed by a 25-piece big band called The Big Band and Jazz Hall Of Fame Orchestra that performed a spectacular concert featuring the best big band music of the 40s and 50s on Saturday, July 3rd  in Memorial Park.  This incredible orchestra has performed worldwide and has a repertoire of hundreds of tunes.  The concert was sponsored by the Sierra Madre 4th of July Committee.  Click on a photo below to see it larger.
