Sierra Madre Grocery Company Named Silver Award Winner at SOFI™ Awards

Press Release posted 7/9/12 - Sierra Madre Grocery Company has been named a Silver Medal Winner for Outstanding Pasta Sauce in the 2012 Sofi™ Awards from the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade, Inc.  Winners were announced at the Summer Fancy Food Show

A Sofi™ Award is the top honor in the $75 billion specialty food industry. “Sofi™” stands for Specialty Outstanding Food Innovation.

The Sierra Madre Grocery Company was one of 110 Silver Finalists selected by a national panel of specialty food experts. The judges evaluated 2600 entries across 30 Awards categories from Outstanding Appetizer, Antipasto, Salsa and Dip to Outstanding Vinegar. Gold and Silver Sofi™ Winners were announced by noted chef José Andrés at a red-carpet ceremony June 18, 2012, at the Summer Fancy Food Show in Washington, D.C.

    I understand why this product won!!! I love to use the Roasted Garlic & Olive Salsa Bruschetta. Tastes great with pasta, to glaze on top of bbq meats and as an easy add in with my homemade meatballs. My Congrats to Karen Swisher.
