Press Release posted 9/19/22 – Saturday, September 22 is the date of the Sierra Madre Health Fair and Wellness in the Park presented by the Senior Community Commission and Sierra Madre Chamber of Commerce. The event will take place in Memorial Park, located at 222 W. Sierra Madre Blvd., Sierra Madre, CA 91024 from 9:00am-12:00pm.
Walgreens will be on-site administering flu vaccinations. It is important to be proactive against influenza which is a serious disease. The Centers for Diseases Control recommends flu vaccinations for: people 65 and older, pregnant woman, people with medical conditions such as asthma, diabetes and chronic lung disease and people who work or care for at risk groups. Insurance will be taken on-site to offset costs. Other event vendors include: LA County Departments of Public Health, Mental Health and Health Services, American Red Cross, Kensington Assisted Living, Athens Services, Emergency Preparedness packets, DayOne of Pasadena, American Cancer Society and many more!
