Posted 8/21/13 – Power went out about 3:30pm this afternoon and about 500 Edison customers were affected, according to SCE. My house on Lima was out, and I spoke to a friend on Alegria between Baldwin and Mountain Trail, and their power was out, too, so a large geographical part of the City was hit. My power came back on about 4:40pm, and the Edison outage app is still showing a 6:30pm restoration time. Don’t know if that’s caution (it was updated at 4:18), or if there are parts of the City still without power. Edison reported the outage as unplanned, and of unknown origin.
