Press Release posted 11/7/13 – The City has initiated the process to update the Housing Element of the General Plan for the 2014-2021 period as required by State law. The workshop will be held on Thursday, November 7 at 7:00 pm in the City Council Chambers, 232 W. Sierra Madre Boulevard. An informational presentation will be provided to address: an overview of the process, accomplishments of the most recent housing element cycle, proposed programs and the City’s RHNA (regional housing needs) requirements. We encourage you to attend the meeting if you are interested in contributing to Sierra Madre’s 8-year Housing Plan.
