We’ve now received word regarding the scheduling of the Celebration of Life services for Robert Young.  Both of Robert’s families will be having a service.  The Young family will be having a Celebration of Life on Friday,  September 5 at 3 pm at the Embassy Suites in Arcadia (211 E. Huntington Dr., corner of Second Ave. and Huntington Dr.), and his SMRFA family, recognizing that there may be some that would like to pay their respects, but due to work constraints might not make the Friday afternoon service, will hold a second Celebration of Life on Saturday, Sept. 6th at the Rose Float barn that occupied so much of his recent life (587 E. Sierra Madre Blvd., behind Sierra Vista Park).  That service will be from 6 to 9pm.  This less-formal event is open to Bob’s float family and anyone else who cannot make it to the Friday afternoon service.  Attending one does not preclude someone attending the other.  For the second event, SMRFA asks people to RSVP  by September 2, by e-mailing respond@smrosefloat.org.
