Posted 4/26/15 – Senior Cailen Rodriguez and Junior Cameron Rodriguez knocked in two runs apiece and Junior Katie Taix threw six innings of 1-hit ball as Alverno’s varsity softball team defeated Bishop Conaty-Loretto on Thursday on their home field. Freshman Isabella Fyson added an inning of no-hit ball, as the Jaguars combined to one-hit Bishop Conaty-Loretto, while notching up 13 hits of their own. Taix struck out ten and got the victory, while giving up two walks. Rodriguez hit a homer and a double and scored twice, Martinez also doubled , and freshmen Olivia Rivas added two doubles and two runs scored.
