Attempted Armed Robbery / Attempted Car Jacking
Case Number: 15-0547
Date and Time: Friday, July 24, 2015, at 8:15 p.m.
Location: Sierra Madre Boulevard / Sunnyside Avenue, Sierra Madre, CA.

Synopsis: The victim stopped at the intersection of Sierra Madre Boulevard and Sunnyside Avenue. The suspect vehicle drives on the wrong side of the street stopping next to the victim’s vehicle. Suspect 1 gets out of the passenger rear seat, opens the victim’s driver’s door, points a black semi-automatic handgun at him and tells the victim to give him his stuff. The victim accelerates and sped away. The suspect vehicle followed the victim eastbound on Sierra Madre Boulevard to just west of Lima Street. The suspect did a U-turn and was last seen driving westbound on Sierra Madre Boulevard from Lima Street.
