Press Release posted 6/21/16 – FIRE UPDATE: The fire remains east of us with no threat at this time to the Sierra Madre Community. City officials will continue to monitor the fire events throughout the day. It is expected to be another hot day with very bad air quality due to the fires. We remind everyone to hydrate well and reduce your outside activities today if you can. Remember to check on you eldery neighbors and keep you pets cool and provide plenty of water for them. Chantry Flats Road, Mt. Wilson Trail, and Bailey Canyon Park will remain closed.
