Posted 9/1/12 – I just spoke with Lt. Len Hundshammer of SMPD, who informed me that he was not aware of any DUI checkpoints being set up in Sierra Madre this weekend, and he said that there are no plans to have Sierra Madre officers participating in the regionwide checkpoints program that has been announced throughout the San Gabriel Valley.
