A resident in the 00 block of North Mountain Trail reported that her vehicle was stolen from her carport.  The victim indicated that she had friends at her residence the night before and the keys to the vehicle were now missing.  The victim was unable to recall when she last saw her vehicle parked in the car port.

A resident of the 300 block of Montecito Avenue filed a police report alleging that her ex-boyfriend called and threatened to kill her. The threat took place during an argument over child visitation. During the investigation, officers managed to contact the ex-boyfriend.  He denied making the threat and stated the victim was making up the entire incident.  The investigation is on-going.

At 8:30am, a solo vehicle traffic collision took place in the 400 block of Santa Anita Court.  The vehicle was proceeding east on Santa Anita Court when it drifted to the right, travelled over the curb and collided with a tree. The momentum caused the vehicle to roll over onto its roof. The driver complained of pain caused by the deployment of the vehicle air bag and received medical treatment.   The driver admitted that he became distracted when he was attempting to plug in his cell phone.

At 8pm, a resident in the 100 block of North Lima Avenue parked his vehicle at the curb and went inside.  Two hours later he returned to his vehicle and discovered that the left side of the car was damaged. The investigation revealed that an unknown vehicle side-swiped that parked car, leaving scape marks and destroying the side view mirror.  The party at fault left the scene without making contact with the other party or leaving contact information on the damaged vehicle.

At 1:45pm, officers responded to a report of domestic violence in the 400 block of East Laurel Avenue.  The person reporting stated that her husband of three years came home intoxicated and began an argument.  During the argument, the husband allegedly slapped a cell phone out of her hand and then struck her with his shoulder.   The husband (male 28 years of age) was arrested for Battery and booked at Pasadena PD Jail.

At 4:45pm, officers responded to a report of a vehicle being driven erratically on Sierra Madre Boulevard.  The officers located the vehicle stopped for the stop sign at Sunnyside Avenue and Sierra Madre Boulevard and observed that the driver appeared to be unconscious.   The officers detained the driver and determined he was under the influence of an unknown drug.  The investigation revealed fresh traffic collision damage on the right side of the vehicle suggesting that the driver collided with an object prior to the reporting party calling in her observations. The driver (male 57 years of age) was arrested for DUI.
