Posted 1/4/13 – The Mayor’s Trophy winning Sierra Madre Rose Float “Catching the Big One” spent the day in Kersting Court yesterday, having arrived Thursday evening, and leaving to head back to the barn late yesterday afternoon. SMRFA seemed to have a successful day fundraising with flower sales, as evidenced by the empty buckets visible in one of the photos below. Another round of CONGRATULATIONS to SMRFA for winning its eight award in nine years, and another big THANK YOU to the volunteers who came from all over to help build it.
