Posted 4/16/18 – I just spoke with Watch Commander Bailey of the SMPD, who informed me that a structure fire at 309 Santa Anita Court was put out, and that were no injuries. Preliminary findings were that it was an appliance fire, though he did not indicate a cause. He did encourage people to check their vents and exhaust tubes, because sometimes early detection can help prevent fires of that nature.
