Sunday, July 10th:

2:54 PM- Drive Vehicle without Required Ignition Interlock Device, Sierra Madre Blvd and Baldwin Ave.   An officer stopped a 19-year old Rosemead motorist for a Vehicle Code violation and determined the driver did not have his required ignition interlock device installed in his vehicle. The driver was cited and released the vehicle to a passenger with a valid driver’s license.

6:53 AM- Battery, 400 blk. Sturtevant Dr. This incident involves a battery between two intoxicated men, both of whom had minor injuries. One of the parties wanted to press charges; the other did not. One of the men made a private person’s arrest of the other man. Officers issued a citation to the arrestee for battery and released him.

Monday, July 11th:

10:10 AM- Residential Burglary, 100 blk. S. Hermosa Ave. This case involves an unknown suspect entering a back house by removing the screen from an open window. The loss included a gold ring with two red rubies, a gold ring with an angled pattern and two diamonds, a gold pinkie ring, a white and gold ring with a panther design, and a handmade gold ring with an amethyst stone and a small diamond. The loss was valued at $13,500.

5:21 PM- Petty Theft, 600 blk. E. Sierra Madre Blvd. This incident involves the theft of two padlocks from the pool area of the Youth Activity Center. The loss was valued at $6.00.

Tuesday, July 12th:

1:26 PM- Trespassing, 600 blk. W. Alegria Ave. This incident involves a man who unlawfully entered a home he had recently sold. The suspect entered the home by removing doggie door panels. The suspect left the location in a dark vehicle.

Wednesday, July 13th:

10:08 AM- Criminal Threats, 200 blk. E. Alegria Ave. This incident involves a victim receiving criminal threats via text messages from a co-worker’s boyfriend. The victim is desirous of prosecution.

Thursday, July 14th:

 2:38 PM- Vandalism/Graffiti, 1900 blk. Stonehouse Rd. Unknown suspect(s) wrote graffiti on a retaining wall at the Sierra Madre Search and Rescue building.

9:11 PM- Possession of Paraphernalia, 600 blk. W. Orange Grove Ave. An officer stopped a bicyclist for a Vehicle Code violation, and determined that the bicyclist had a $50,000 arrest warrant from the San Marino Police Department. The suspect was also in possession of a glass smoking pipe. The officer arrested the suspect, who was turned over to the San Marino PD for booking on the warrant.

Friday, July 15th:

8:42 AM- 100 blk. Suffolk Ave. This case involves an unknown suspect(s) opening two accounts using the victim’s name and credit information.

12:34 PM- Assist to Other Agency, Santa Anita Ave and Oakwood Dr. An officer stopped a 28-year Altadena motorist for a Vehicle Code violation. The driver was on probation for assault and had not been served with a protection order against him on behalf of his female passenger, who was with him. The officer served the protection notice on the motorist and released him.

7:19 PM- Make Annoying Telephone calls, 100 blk. E. Sierra Madre Blvd. This incident involves an ex-husband making harassing phone calls, messages, and faxes to his ex-wife.
