“The Tale Of The Frog Prince” Returns To Sierra Madre Playhouse On October 15

Posted 10/2/11 – The Sierra Madre Playhouse invites all kids to become froggies in our swamp. The evil witch has turned the handsome Prince into a frog. He’s sad and lonely and needs you as his friends to sing and dance and play with him. He is waiting and hoping that somewhere there is a lovely girl who could see past his ugly green exterior and love him for who he really is inside. Then, her kiss would break the witch’s spell and he would become a handsome prince once more.

All shows presented by Fairy Tale Theatre are interactive “Participation” plays. The children in the audience play an active part from their seats, wearing costumes, talking to the characters, and then meeting the costumed characters for autographs after the show. Sometimes a few of the braver kids are invited on stage to play roles in the scenes.

In “The Tale of the Frog Prince,” all the kids play froggies in the pond from their seats and are invited to sing and dance with their Frog Prince friend.
