BTW, thanks to Meredith Keith and Lisa Carlson, and Laura Mitchell, Kelly Artinian, and the other members of the 4th of July Committee who’s names I don’t know.  This year’s event went very well (okay, we do need to work on food wait times at the Picnic, maybe get more people to bring a picnic lunch?), and the attendance at the Community Picnic was a pleasant surprise (although I’m sure that was the major contributing factor to overwhelming the food providers).  But overall, it was a great couple days of festivities.  Thanks also to SMPD, SMFD and Community Services Dept. staff.
