Popular Jazz Musician to be Featured at 38th Annual Wine and Cuisine Tasting

Master guitarist and Jazz artist Erik Byak will be one of the featured entertainers at the Friends of the Sierra Madre Annual Wine and Cuisine Tasting. Friday, Feb. 22nd , 7 pm to 9:30 pm, is the date for this ever-popular ‘sell-out’ event.  Alverno’s historic Villa provides an elegant backdrop for musician Erik Byak. His background includes a 10 - year career as a talented studio musician, blending a stylish fusion of smooth jazz with rock elements, and a sensuous Brazilian rhythm.  Favorite magicians Steve Silverman and Will Chandler from the Magic Castle will delight guests. Their elegant charm, magic tricks, and quick sleight-of-hand will add to the festivities!

 

Tickets are available at the Sierra Madre Library, and these local businesses: Angels Everywhere, Arnold’s Hardware and Gifts, The Bottle Shop, Savor the Flavor, and Sierra Madre Books. They may also be purchased by mail @ Friends of the Sierra Madre Library, P.O.Box, 334 Sierra Madre, CA 91025. Priced at $60.00,tickets are an excellent value, as guests will have the opportunity to savor a fine assortment of wines and gourmet food selections from area restaurants, and enjoy beautiful creations from talented local florists and artists.

 

The Cuisine and Wine Tasting is one of the Friends’ major fund-raisers to support Library programs, services, acquisitions, and building and grounds improvements.
