Members of St. Rita's Boy Scout Troop 110 enjoy the flapjacks at the 2007 SMVFA annual Pancake Breakfast, this year set for May 17th. The whole town should really show up, after last weekend.

Wistaria Day, 2004

Sunday, March 14, 2004

Wistaria Day Has Come and Gone  The Sierra Madre Chamber of Commerce sponsored the Wistaria Festival again Sunday, and with the help of many local organizations, outside vendors, bands, and a lot of crafters, were successful in entertaining the smaller than usual crowd of thousands that came to enjoy the downtown booths and the 110-year old vine.

There was live entertainment throughout the day.  This is around noon. I don't know the name of the band, but that's Peter Burke on percussion.  Why is that important?  See next picture page.
